We're a small studio. We build custom websites and offer optional monthly hosting. You own everything we build for you. There are no long-term contracts for hosting — you can cancel any time. We don't sell your data. We communicate honestly, deliver what we promise, and fix anything we break. If something below is unclear, ask us before signing anything.
BlastChamber.net offers three categories of service, each described in more detail on our Pricing and FAQ pages:
When you pay for a build, you own the final code, design, and content we produce for you. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing. We may reuse generic, non-client-specific code patterns and utilities across projects.
You are responsible for the content you provide to us (text, images, logos). You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us, and that it does not infringe on anyone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
You can cancel monthly hosting at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will confirm the cancellation in writing within 2 business days. There are no cancellation fees.
If you cancel hosting, we will provide a full export of your site files (zip archive) and database within 7 days at no charge, so you can move to another host. After 30 days from cancellation, your data is deleted from our servers.
For hosting clients, we target 99.9% monthly uptime, measured at the network edge (Cloudflare). We do not guarantee 100% uptime because no provider can — power, network, and hardware can fail. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance when possible. Emergency maintenance may happen without notice.
If we miss our 99.9% target in a given month, contact us and we will credit your next invoice. The credit is prorated to the actual downtime.
You may not use our hosting to:
If we discover a violation, we will notify you and give you 24 hours to fix it. If not fixed, we will suspend the affected service. Repeat violations result in termination without refund.
All hosting tiers include daily automated backups retained per your plan (Standard: 7 days, Pro: 14 days, Enterprise: as quoted). Backups are stored separately from the live site. If something goes catastrophically wrong, we restore from a recent backup at no charge.
You are responsible for keeping your own copy of any content you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for data loss caused by factors outside our control (your actions, third-party software vulnerabilities, etc.).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
If we have a disagreement, please email us first. Most issues can be resolved with a phone call. If we cannot resolve it informally, the dispute will be handled in the courts of Winnebago County, Illinois, under Illinois law.
If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active clients by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
